En más detalles del reporte mensual de NPD, firma de estudios de mercado, se revelaron los diez juegos más vendidos durante el mes de mayo. Antes de llegar a ese punto, debes saber que en dicho mes, se recolectaron $274 millones en ventas de videojuegos; una tremenda alza, si lo comparas con mayo 2013, cuando se recaudaron $175 millones. Ubisoft y Watch_dogs serían los protagonistas de esta historia, tomando el puesto número uno de la siguiente lista:

- Mario Kart 8 (Wii U) – Nintendo
